Sherry Guard worked at Beneficial Finance as a loan officer prior to joining the Breakwater Mortgage team. Before becoming a mortgage professional, Sherry worked as a retail sales manager for Dillard's, a high end department store in MacArthur Center in Norfolk, Virginia. She grew up in Virginia Beach.

Sherry has an honest and straightforward business style. She believes in treating her clients with the integrity she would expect in any business transaction. By delivering a high level of customer service Sherry has developed a client base that provides repeat business and referrals.

Sherry has three sons, Xavier, Noah, and Luis. Her oldest son, Luis, served in the U.S. Army during the invasion of Iraq and is currently an active member of the National Guard. She lives in Chesapeake with her husband of 17 years, Chris.
