Brandi Brand, a native of Virginia, has joined our team at Breakwater Mortgage Corporation as the Sales Director. Brandi has offices in Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, with aspirations to expand throughout Virginia. Brandi began in this field as a credit analyst becoming a customer relationship manager, a loan officer and Regional Manager in the mortgage-banking field. She also studied Business Finance at the college level. Brandi says that experience has allowed her to learn the "technical" aspects of this business, but she believes relationships with her customers are the key to her success.

Following behind her grandfather, J.Carey Minor, a real estate developer in Williamsburg, she learned that "relationships" are the foundation for any business success. He believed that the people of Williamsburg were the town's biggest asset and he instilled in Brandi the importance of developing these relationships. Through personal dialogue with mortgage clients, Brandi takes the time to obtain a full understanding of their needs and help them make the best decision. She then follows through and produces the results that insure a continued relationship with her customers.

On a personal level, Brandi is married to Scott Brand, no her parents did not name her "Brandi Brand" as a joke. Scott is currently serving the U.S. as a Chief in the Navy. He is stationed nearby at the Newport News Shipyard, aboard the U.S.S. Texas. Continuing Brandi's philosophy of giving back to the community, their "hobby" together is buying and renovating property on the Peninsula. They currently own four properties and hope to acquire more soon.
